From September 2011 till September 2012, the 7th board was in charge of S.V.A.T. Astatine, consisting of:
Daan in den Berken – Chairman & Internationalisation
Our chairman isn’t the longest of men, though he is long-winded. His task is the general management of the association and to coordinate the board and making sure everything goes as fluid as possible. As commissioner of internationalisation, he is the person you need to talk to if you got problems with the aspect of being an international student within Advanced Technology.
When he isn’t busy with Astatine he is either rock climbing, preferably in sunny locations, or scuba diving in the watery depths. Though you can also often find him with a good book.
David van Duinen – Secretary & External Relations
They say the pen is mightier than the sword. David is the guy that wields that pen for Astatine. As secretary of the association, he is the one answering the mail, keeping the minutes of meetings and administrating the database of members. As commissioner of external affairs, he handles the correspondence with companies. In his free time instead of wielding a pen, he wields a paddle. As a member of DKV Euros, he is often found in a canoe.
Tom Heidotting – Treasurer & Educational Affairs
Tom is the closest we’ve got on the board when it comes to locals. And when he isn’t getting surprised by snails, he is out with his camera making great pictures. As the Treasurer of Astatine, he is the numbers man, making sure all the accounts are in balance. As the commissioner of educational affairs, he closely involved he is your go-to guy when it comes to education within Advanced Technology.
