The ATAC coordinated an awesome edition of our annual Sinterklaas Activity. The evening was filled with fun mini games and a guest appearance from Sinterklaas himself. Full disclosure it was actually Advanced Technologyās very own Programme Director, Herbert Wormeester. He came dressed for the part with his helpers and sacks full of gifts! He told us some tales about the year so far which were hilarious and then gave out gifts to all of the attendees. The rest of the evening was spent admiring our gifts, playing mini games and just chatting and enjoying the holiday spirit.

Thereās this really nice tree just outside my bedroom window, and as of writing this, the leaves on this tree are just starting to turn golden. So thatās it, then. I guess Iām writing a leaf-appreciation article. Thatāll get Sander off my back.
Oxford Dictionary calls a leaf āa flattened structure of a higher plant, typically green and blade-like, that is attached to a stem directly or via a stalkā.

VDL Almelo Excursion
Wednesday 16th of October Astatine visited VDL Almelo with 13 enthusiastic members. We started with an explanatory presentation from Puck, a factory engineer, about his daily duties. He closed his presentation with some fun pub quiz questions. After the presentation, we had a tour through the factory which ended with a more informal drink where we could talk to employees.

15th Board of S.A. Astatine
